Technology Lead for Future Health

This is a backend technology lead position at Well Compass, a healthcare and medical DX business within the DeNA group (secondment role). The team builds a health-checkup web DX SaaS called Tsunaken, which connects medical institutions, companies, and examinees, alongside a CRM solution for a resort-trust customer base. The product is moving from its '0→1' launch phase into a '1→10' scaling phase as adoption across facilities expands.

The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership. Responsibilities include redesigning and implementing the architecture for multi-tenancy (data isolation, performance optimization, shared platform development), designing new features (for example automated reservation confirmation and checkup attendance prompting), making build/don't-build/defer technical decisions based on business priority, and reducing technical debt. As a tech lead, the person performs backend code review, shares best practices, mentors junior engineers, and coordinates with project and product managers to turn customer-specific requests into general product features. The role also covers SRE improvements such as strengthening monitoring and speeding up CI/CD pipelines, and using generative AI to improve development processes. The work handles sensitive medical checkup data, requiring high security and data integrity.

Development environment: backend in Go, frontend in Remix (React), infrastructure on AWS (AWS Fargate, RDS/Aurora), Site-to-Site VPN, IaC with AWS CDK, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and GitHub, Notion, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and Miro for collaboration. This is a full-time (正社員) position based at DeNA's Shibuya head office or Well Compass's Roppongi office in Tokyo, with remote work permitted at company-approved locations.
