Backend Engineer

RAKSUL is hiring a Backend Engineer for the supply chain management development department of its core RAKSUL service. The engineer builds and runs the core business systems: the system that sends order information to print partners across the country and the platforms that support the print e-commerce site and internal operations teams.

Work includes feature development for new product additions, feature and operations improvements, and daily operation. The mission is a robust, scalable print ordering platform that optimizes orders against partner capacity so goods reach customers reliably and profit is maximized. The role gives design experience in domain-driven design, balancing flexibility with robustness, and deciding what to build and not build. Five to eight developers work mainly in Scrum on Go, Ruby, PHP, Rails and Vue.js, with AWS, GCP and Datadog.

Applicants need five or more years of development in a type-safe language such as Go, Java or C#, relational database experience such as MySQL, cloud-native infrastructure work on AWS, and experience leading development such as tech lead. They should understand the product roadmap and take responsibility for design and technology choices.
