About this role

This role develops and operates GO BUSINESS, a B2B SaaS product for companies that use taxis for business. The engineer works across multiple products, including the corporate administration screens and other products that make up the GO taxi app. Responsibilities include developing and operating web applications and backend API servers, defining requirements, designing specifications, implementing features, and testing them. The role may also involve directly developing APIs for the GO taxi app and coordinating with the user application team, other product development teams, corporate customers, and sales.

Required experience includes at least three years of development and operations experience for web applications and their backend API servers; frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript and React; experience from requirements definition through specification design, development, and testing; experience developing in teams with both engineers and non-engineers; and team development using GitHub or similar tools.

The backend environment uses Go, Echo, MySQL, Redis, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions. The frontend environment uses TypeScript, Dart, React, Flutter, MUI, S3, CloudFront, and GitHub Actions. Preferred experience includes operating and maintaining large-scale web services, performance tuning, frontend or backend architecture design, database table design, BigQuery, Sentry, New Relic, Go backend development, business system design and development, service operations improvement, and generative AI-assisted development and operations.

The position addresses growing usage and inquiries while developing improvements for existing customers and new features for prospective customers. Work includes features related to corporate governance and security for large global companies, as well as development involving the GO taxi app backend and user applications.
