Daisho, founded in 1966, makes and sells sauces, soups and powdered seasonings. Its retail lines include Yakiniku Ichiban and other barbecue sauces, Aji Shio Kosho seasoning, kimchi and motsu hot-pot soups, soup vermicelli, dressings and green-juice drinks. Its sales network sells these through supermarket meat, fish, produce and deli sections, as well as discount stores, drugstores and overseas.
For commercial customers it supplies oil-based sauces and other seasonings, mainly to meat retailers and deli producers. Products are made at four factories, one in Kanto and three in Kyushu and Fukuoka. Daisho has head offices in Sumida, Tokyo and Higashi-ku, Fukuoka, and reported net sales of 27.49 billion yen for the year to March 2026.
