J-Oil Mills' main oils and fats business imports grains mainly from overseas and processes them into edible oils and oilseed meal. It sells household oils, including sesame oil, as well as commercial fats, margarine, starches, soy flour and other soy-based materials for restaurants, prepared-food makers and food manufacturers.
Commercial products include the Chotoku oil range and JOYL PRO seasoning and cooking oils, aimed at reducing work in kitchens. NeoTrust and HiTrust starches help keep cooked meat juicy and fried food crisp, and the range includes the Mamenorisan soy sheet. The head office is in Akashicho, Chuo, Tokyo, with 1,222 employees as of March 31, 2026.
