EMS Internal Audit Specialist

The role conducts internal audits for the Canon Group’s integrated ISO 14001 certification and supports the development of environmental management systems at group companies and sites around the world. Responsibilities include auditing multiple domestic and overseas locations, proposing improvements, and providing follow-up support to reduce environmental risks and improve environmental performance.

Applicants must have practical experience building and operating environmental management systems. Experience conducting ISO 14001 internal audits for three years or more is welcomed. Practical experience using English is also welcomed. The position requires the ability to communicate smoothly with other departments and to approach tasks proactively.

The work covers collaboration with group companies and sites across the Canon Group and involves advancing environmental management from a global perspective. Career development includes taking a leadership role in ISO 14001 integrated-certification internal audits and later coordinating environmental management or developing and promoting global strategy. On-the-job training, internal training, and external training are available.

The position is full-time and based at Canon’s headquarters in Ota-ku, Tokyo. The role is a permanent employee position.
