About this role

This role leads monetization growth for Recichare, a savings app where users upload receipts to accumulate points. Recichare is in a growth phase and has surpassed 15 million downloads. The broader service portfolio also includes the Kurashiru recipe video service, which has approximately 36 million monthly active users.

The position owns the planning and execution of in-app monetization initiatives. It has discretion beyond operating existing measures, including the ability to design and implement new initiatives. The role is responsible for treating revenue, funding for rewards, and gross profit as its own business metrics and for using KPI design to drive the business from an upstream level.

One major area is Usapon, Recichare’s in-app reward initiative. Responsibilities include managing the funding available for rewards, designing lottery probabilities, selecting products and prizes that appeal to users, and tracking trends across categories. The design of prizes, winning probabilities, and the amount returned to users can affect both revenue and user engagement.

The role also directs revenue improvement for the app’s ad network. This includes coordinating external partners, monitoring performance figures, detecting abnormalities, and driving improvements intended to maximize revenue. For the installed offer-wall advertising products, including adjoe and mychips, the position leads operational design, execution, and validation within the app, with the aim of developing them into an additional revenue source.

Financial responsibilities include managing and reporting the monthly revenue forecast and designing KPIs across sales, reward funding, and gross profit. The posting describes a fast decision-making environment in which initiatives may be decided in the morning and put into operation the same day.
