Art Director

CyberAgent's Pigg business is hiring an Art Director for PIGG PARTY, an avatar-community service (10M+ members). Work includes: creating and designing avatar-item and visual illustration and art direction; planning, proposing and executing together with producers, planners and engineers; and creating peripheral artwork for service operation. You can experience building characters and worldviews for users, producing varied illustration beyond Pigg's signature deformed style, and challenges across illustration, art direction, graphics and sometimes UI/UX, with large discretion in a growth-phase service. Required: practical experience as an illustrator/art director, 3+ years of Photoshop/Illustrator, experience with game or communication smartphone apps or web design, basic drawing/modeling/color skills, and direction/management experience. Welcome: art-school background, After Effects animation, and avatar-service experience. Three office days, two remote (negotiable). Business-level Japanese is expected. Full-time, based in Tokyo (Shibuya).
