Casting Staff

This contract position is a casting staff role at Nelke Planning, a Tokyo-based theatrical production company within the CyberAgent group that stages musicals and plays, including 2.5-dimensional musicals adapted from manga, anime, and games (over 50 production titles a year). The role centers on casting for stage and musical productions. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, preparing, and managing the production progress of auditions for the company's stage performances, handling audition-related information management and inquiry responses, and carrying out other information management and update tasks. Required skills are basic operation of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Welcomed experience includes practical work at live-entertainment, record, or video-content companies (particularly audition or casting experience), presentation and proposal experience, Illustrator and Photoshop skills, and a standard driver's license. The employment type is contract employee, including a one-month trial period, with a possible path to permanent employment after roughly one year. The role is based at the Tokyo head office in Higashiyama, Meguro-ku, Tokyo. Working hours follow a flextime system with a standard eight-hour day and no core time; weekends and public holidays are off. Monthly salary ranges from 280,000 to 500,000 yen, including a fixed overtime allowance (from 37,850 yen for 20 hours/month), with excess overtime paid separately. Commuting costs are fully covered and a communication allowance is provided.
