Goods Planning / Production Progress

Nelke Planning, a CyberAgent group company that produces more than 50 stage titles a year, including 2.5-dimensional musicals, hires a person for goods planning and production progress, as merchandise for stage shows grows more varied and numbers and profit matter.

The planner understands each production's character and handles the whole path from planning merchandise to making and selling it: researching items to suit the performance and deciding what to sell, preparing budgets, managing production progress (photo-shoot preparation, meetings with designers and negotiations with suppliers), managing quantities and deliveries, and negotiating licences and contracts.

Applicants need one or more years of planning, producing and managing progress of goods or printed matter, a liking for theatre, entertainment and making things, and Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience planning stage merchandise, merchandise at live-entertainment or anime companies, planning of bonuses and promotional items, editing photobooks or books, and Photoshop or Illustrator skills are preferred. The company looks for people who build honest relationships, follow trends and adapt flexibly.
