Production Project Manager

AbemaTV is hiring a Production Project Manager for the production division of ABEMA, which makes the service's original variety, reality and drama shows. The role approaches each programme as a business, working beside a production producer who is responsible for content quality, and the division has about 75 members.

The manager handles each programme from start to finish: building strategy and plans for business targets, setting KPIs and tracking progress, planning and running promotion including promotion inside ABEMA, and managing risks such as rights and compliance. The aim is to become the programme's business lead within a year, responsible for its viewing numbers and revenue, and later to develop successors and manage the organisation.

Applicants need a clear career vision in entertainment content, strong interest in ABEMA's programmes and at least two years in one of these: producing, planning or marketing at a major ad agency; business growth or marketing at an IT, media, web or major manufacturing company; producing or marketing in video, games, music, events or IP; or content business at a broadcaster or production company. Experience managing several projects is preferred.
