This contract position is for a supervising engineer in the industrial wastewater and exhaust-gas business of Kubota Environmental Engineering. The company works on the construction, operation, maintenance, repair and engineering of water-treatment, waste-treatment and industrial wastewater and exhaust-gas treatment facilities.
The role is limited to supervising-engineer duties. During the operating period of a private-sector construction project, the engineer is generally stationed at the construction site, with accommodation costs paid by the company. A site representative is also assigned, so the main responsibilities are schedule management, safety management and meetings with the client. Business trips are expected to last approximately three to six months. Between construction periods, work can be performed from home, although office attendance may be required for meetings.
Applicants must hold an ordinary driving licence and a supervising engineer qualification in either mechanical equipment installation or piping construction. Experience in plant-related work is welcomed.
The employment contract runs from the joining date until the first March 31 that follows, with the initial contract lasting no more than one year. Renewal is possible without an upper limit, based on workload at the end of the contract, work performance and conduct, ability, and the company’s business situation.
Full transportation costs are paid.
The premises are non-smoking except for designated outdoor smoking areas.
