Applicants must have at least three years of practical experience managing and maintaining mechanical equipment. Preferred qualifications and knowledge include the Building Sanitation Management Engineer qualification, boiler technician or energy manager qualifications, and broad knowledge of facility management, applicable laws and regulations, facility specifications and costs, building and construction planning, design, construction supervision, environmental technology, lifecycle costs, energy conservation, maintenance planning, operation management, emergency response, accident and failure analysis, evaluation, and preventive measures.
The position is full-time and may be assigned to one of the listed Canon sites in Tokyo, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Kanagawa, or Shizuoka. Working hours are generally 8:30–17:00, with some sites operating 8:00–16:30. Annual holidays total 125 days, with two days off per week in principle on Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, a May holiday period, and summer leave.
