Core System Development Engineer

This role is part of the initial core team building a scalable securities system for an automated asset-management service. Engineers work with planning and domain specialists on architecture and development for trade execution and settlement, balance management, tax processing, cash management, securities accounting, and statement generation. The position also helps establish technology choices and development standards.

The work includes Java and Spring Boot backend development, TypeScript and Next.js frontend development, cloud-native platform construction, maintenance, operations automation, and continuous improvement. The environment includes PostgreSQL on Amazon Aurora, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, Git, and GitHub Copilot. Required qualifications include five or more years of Java development, experience from basic design through maintenance and operations, development using managed cloud services, infrastructure-aware application design, and Git-based team development. The role also requires an interest in current language and library developments, a clean-code mindset, and flexibility in adopting new tools such as AI in practice.
