The role also supports developers by teaching application developers, reviewing table designs and tuning SQL. The environment includes Aurora MySQL, ElastiCache Redis, DynamoDB, Neptune, Elasticsearch, Datadog and Terraform.
Required are SQL knowledge, table design, and database maintenance and operation experience, along with monitoring and performance tuning of database products. Preferred are experience developing and running large services, MySQL operations, and AWS managed services such as Aurora and RDS.
