Preferred Networks (PFN) is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers, a role it has now defined formally for engineers who build generative AI and AI agent solutions on site with customers. Applicants need three or more years of end-to-end software development, experience building or deploying ML, LLM, RAG or agent systems or leading enterprise technical projects, customer-site work (roughly 50 to 80 percent of time), Python skills, hands-on full-stack deployment on AWS, GCP, Azure or on-premises, and native-level Japanese.
