Security Administrator

This role leads information security strengthening efforts across the company and affiliated companies. Duties are adjusted based on member aptitude and business needs; not all listed tasks are required from day one. Example work includes: handling security consultations (e.g. new SaaS usage, tools like Assured), drafting usage rules and account/permission management strategy, security review for existing SaaS and external data handoffs (Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft SharePoint, HENNGE Secure Transfer), PC/smartphone device security consultation in coordination with the IT systems team, system design review (especially data flow and architecture), researching and responding to security, personal information (including overseas), and AI-related laws and regulations, drafting and executing personal information protection/privacy strategy, creating security regulations and guidelines and building security structure, monitoring operational status, supporting business units on guideline compliance, handling external security assessments, planning ISMS and other external security certification acquisition, building relationships with outside security organizations, running internal training, and responding to EDR alerts and incidents. Requirements: at least one of enterprise security/risk management experience, external security certification acquisition/renewal or internal audit experience, or security-related product/service development and operation experience; business-level Japanese (interviews conducted in Japanese) and English ability to read/write documents. Preferred: experience with the example duties above, global service security work, AWS/GCP administration, in-house IT systems roles, ISMS certification work, vulnerability assessment or penetration testing, and CISM/CISSP certifications. Employment is full-time regular with a 3-month probation period under the same conditions as regular employment. Discretionary work system (deemed 8-hour day) or flextime.
