This role is expected to join the AI agent development team for the management domain within the BR Digital Innovation Department. The department develops and implements digital technologies, including generative AI, to transform company-wide business processes. The role focuses on analyzing and forecasting management KPIs and developing technology that supports management decision-making.
Responsibilities include modeling the structure of management KPIs by identifying dependencies and leading indicators, integrating heterogeneous data sources, and creating KPI trees. The role also develops scenario analysis and forecasting capabilities, including predicting the effects of initiatives, quantitatively evaluating risk scenarios, and maintaining model interpretability. Other work includes designing agents that automatically collect industry trends, market information, and technology trends and provide relevant context for management decisions. The decision-support platform will automatically visualize analytical results, generate reports, and present integrated information needed for decisions. The role promotes the work end to end, from building data integration and analysis foundations through designing and implementing AI agents, while coordinating requirements with business departments and external partners and sharing design expertise with the team.
Required qualifications are at least two years of experience designing and developing systems that use AI or machine learning, application development experience with Python, and either experience improving operations or supporting decision-making through data analysis, or experience designing and developing business systems.
Preferred experience includes data analysis in management, supply chain, or cost analysis; combining statistical methods such as time-series analysis or simulation with generative AI; designing or building RAG systems or AI agents; leading business automation or improvement projects; and application development or environment setup in AWS or Azure. Candidates are expected to independently investigate and validate new technologies and methods, share findings with the team, and connect technology with solutions to business issues.
The position is a regular employee role based at the Daiba Development Center in Koto, Tokyo. Remote work, a work-from-home system, short-time working, and flexible working systems are available.
