This junior role develops and maintains web products for the commercial real estate domain. The work includes building new features that deliver value to customers, resolving technical issues proposed by engineers, improving implementations for more efficient processing, and proposing ideas for making large volumes of real estate data more useful. The engineer may also run proofs of concept, build prototypes, launch new products or projects, and contribute to team value creation and technical growth.
From the first day, the engineer works on feature development with support from other engineers. A mentor provides close assistance after joining, including help with Git and frontend-backend integration, a first point of contact for questions, and clarification of expectations. The target is to experience a first production release within one to two weeks. The role is assigned to a cross-functional team of about five people, including web application engineers, a product manager, a designer and a design engineer. Senior engineers and team members are closely accessible, with regular code reviews and the option to consult company or business-unit CTOs.
