Pre-sales Specialist

This role proposes communications solutions using mobile lines, MVNO services and network services to Panasonic Group businesses and corporate customers. The position supports customer problem-solving through connectivity services for products and services that require communications, including EV charging equipment, home security, signage, transport robots and remote monitoring devices.

Day-to-day work includes coordinating with account representatives and systems engineers, organizing customers’ intended uses and communications requirements, and considering suitable line plans and network configurations. Proposals must take account of communications volume, stability, cost and business continuity planning. The role also develops proposals involving network equipment for M2M and IoT applications, as well as cloud connectivity through services such as AWS and Azure.

Required experience includes at least one of the following: proposing mobile lines, MVNO or M2M/IoT communications services to corporate customers; corporate proposals, pre-sales or technical sales in the communications or network field; or engineering experience in networks or infrastructure that included customer discussions, requirements organization or implementation support.

Preferred experience includes considering communications plans based on carrier lines, multi-carrier configurations and BCP, as well as knowledge of cloud connectivity, private network connectivity and network configurations.

The position is part of the Product Promotion Department within the Mobile Services Division and ICT Services General Division of the Field Solutions Company. The organization provides communications infrastructure and network services to Panasonic businesses and corporate customers.

This is a full-time regular employee position in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Standard working hours are 9:00 to 17:30, with a standard daily working time of 7 hours 45 minutes. A flextime system without core hours is available, and overtime may occur. Hybrid work is available, with attendance approximately three days per week, and domestic business trips occur several times per year. The estimated annual salary is JPY 5.8 million to JPY 9.6 million. The probationary period is generally three months from the date of joining.
