Senior Security Engineer, Vulnerability Assessment

The security engineer will conduct practical vulnerability assessments and help improve or establish services related to vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. The role also includes customer support connected with the SCS evaluation system, operating a security media site, producing content, speaking at security-related seminars, and preparing sales-support materials such as documents and articles to generate security leads.

The position joins the security product department as an engineer working alongside a leader-level engineer and a junior engineer. The department is expanding, and the role is intended to support the leader as the engineering organization grows. The business provides corporate customers with network, cloud, security, and DX solutions through USEN ICT Solutions.

Applicants must have at least three years of security engineering experience; vulnerability assessment experience is particularly valued. The posting also requires the ability to communicate smoothly inside and outside the company. Experience presenting at seminars, writing article content, or establishing security services is welcomed.

The role requires vulnerability assessment and penetration-testing knowledge, customer communication, security content creation, seminar presentation, and sales support. The posting also refers to adapting positively to new technologies such as AI.

The security product department has 13 members: one department manager, one section manager, seven sales employees, two engineers, and two business-promotion employees. A training period of approximately one month is planned. From the second month, the employee is expected to begin work such as writing owned-media articles while learning the assessment process; practical assessment work is scheduled to begin from the third month, together with customer support, seminar participation, and service development as appropriate.

The employment type is regular full-time employment. Annual compensation is JPY 6,000,000 to JPY 7,000,000, with the annual amount divided into 14 payments; the monthly amount includes deemed pay for 25 hours of work, except when hired as a manager or supervisor. The work uses a flextime system without core hours, with a standard working time of 7 hours 30 minutes per day and a 60-minute break. Remote work, including full remote work, is possible, although office attendance may be required when necessary. The listed location is Shinagawa, Tokyo.
