About this role

This manager-level PMO consultant will serve as a core PM and PMO for the AI Concierge telephone automatic response service, working directly under the company president. The role covers project planning and execution across the business, including developing and evaluating project members, improving team performance, designing project scope and structures, and managing costs.

The consultant will coordinate projects with internal stakeholders such as sales and development teams and with external partners. Responsibilities include interviewing customers about telephone operations, organizing their business processes, identifying issues for AI adoption, defining requirements, organizing specifications, and proposing and coordinating response-flow designs. The role also includes explaining the business strategy behind proposals, supporting operations after implementation, handling improvements, proposing ongoing service enhancements, and recommending ways to use and improve the service based on trends in AI technology and telephone-related fields.

Beyond individual projects, the role is expected to organize knowledge and decision-making processes gained across multiple projects and turn implementation and delivery approaches into reproducible methods.

Required experience includes practical management of large-scale or multiple projects in IT consulting, systems integration, or an operating company; experience designing projects end to end from upstream requirements definition through business implementation; and advanced consensus building with diverse stakeholders, including customers and internal executives. Preferred experience includes team management, establishing or operating a PMO organization, standardizing or formalizing SaaS product implementation processes, and substantial knowledge of call centers, CRM, voice analysis, or related industry trends.

The service uses hybrid human-and-AI operations to improve work efficiency and change telephone-operation cost structures. It is being adopted by major companies as well as local governments and administrative organizations. The department operates as a small professional group with open communication and direct access to management. Office work is the general practice, while remote work may be used depending on project conditions or individual circumstances. Working hours are based on a flextime system without core hours, with standard working time of eight hours per day and a 60-minute break. The position is generally expected to work from the office. The job is a permanent employee position in Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, with annual holidays of at least 120 days and listed social insurance, transportation, leave, and welfare benefits.
