This full-time editor role is based in Tokyo and focuses mainly on web content about food, health, and medical topics. The editor will help develop trustworthy information for the company's food and health media, including the reading-content service 「読む、えいよう」 and information covering conditions such as diabetes and dyslipidemia.

Day-to-day responsibilities include proposing content plans and structures, conducting interviews, writing and proofreading, managing production schedules, and assigning or coordinating external staff. The work covers the full range of editorial operations. The content is expected to be based thoroughly on evidence and medically accurate information.

The company develops the food-management app 「おいしい健康」, which provides meal and recipe suggestions for patients and other users, as well as the medical-institution meal-guidance solution 「Kakaris」. Its services address more than 70 medical conditions and themes. The company also conducts joint clinical research with medical universities, publishes papers, and presents at academic conferences. This editorial role contributes to communicating food, nutrition, health, and medical information in an understandable way.

Required qualifications are practical editing experience at a publishing company, editorial production company, or web media organization; a strong interest in healthcare, wellness, and food; and communication skills for progressing work smoothly. Practical editing experience related to medical or healthcare content in one of those settings is welcomed.

Web editing experience is not essential when there is a willingness to take on new challenges. Print-media experience is also represented within the team. The editor will work with in-house engineers, designers, and registered dietitians, and can gain experience carrying out projects across different professions. Approximately 10 registered dietitians are part of the organization, supporting accurate food and nutrition information.
