Editor

The editor will create and manage evidence-based content about food, nutrition, health, and medical topics for the company’s web media. Responsibilities include proposing content plans and article structures, conducting interviews, writing, proofreading, managing production schedules, assigning external staff, and handling the broader editorial process.

Applicants must have practical editing experience at a publisher, editorial production company, or web media organization. A strong interest in healthcare, wellness, or food is required, as are communication skills for moving work forward smoothly. Practical editing experience related to medical or healthcare topics is preferred. People without previous web-editing experience may also be considered if they are willing to take on new challenges. Members with print-media backgrounds are already active in the organization.

The main publishing channel is the web. Content covers food and health information, including topics related to diabetes, dyslipidemia, and the basics of measuring ingredients for healthy cooking. The service supports food guidance for more than 70 conditions or themes. The editorial team works with engineers, designers, and registered dietitians; approximately 10 registered dietitians are employed internally. Collaboration with medical universities and clinical research provides medical knowledge for the content. Related services include the food-management app Oishii Kenko, the meal-guidance solution Kakaris for medical institutions, and the reading-content project 「読む、えいよう」.
