Design AI-native UX for the Loglass management SaaS. The role prototypes future user experiences, models complex customer domains, creates usable UI, and works with product managers and engineers.
Loglass provides and develops the Loglass management cloud service for corporate management and budget-versus-actual management. This Product Designer role supports a large-scale rearchitecture and domain redefinition of the core Loglass management product, creating UI and UX for an AI-native SaaS product.
The designer will turn future AI-native user experiences into prototypes so that customers and the team can form a clear image of the proposed experience and move projects forward. The role also includes interviewing customers about their work, modeling complex domains, and producing detailed UI designs that balance implementation feasibility with user experience. The designer will work closely with product managers and engineers and address the tension between system flexibility and ease of use through design decisions that consider long-term extensibility.
Required qualifications include at least three years of practical UI/UX design experience for an application, web service, or product. Candidates must also have experience designing in an AI-assisted development environment or designing UI/UX for an AI product. At least two years of experience using prototyping to involve product managers, engineers, and other functions in repeated product improvements is required. The posting also requires experience leading decisions or initiatives that affected an organization larger than the immediate team, along with the ability to take responsibility for customer-focused user experience and design.
Preferred experience includes design planning connected with refactoring or rearchitecting legacy or large-scale systems, proposing product issues and improvements through user interviews, and launching a new business. Understanding of corporate planning or qualifications such as bookkeeping is also welcomed.
The position is a regular employee role with a probationary period of three months, extendable to six months. The expected annual salary is JPY 6,000,000 to JPY 12,000,000, determined according to experience and skills. Pay raises are reviewed twice a year, in April and October, under company rules. The stated examples are monthly pay of JPY 500,000 for an annual salary of JPY 6,000,000 and JPY 1,000,000 for JPY 12,000,000; each includes a fixed overtime allowance for 60 hours per month. Work beyond the fixed overtime hours is paid separately in full.
The workplace is in Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo. Hours are 10:00 to 19:00 with a one-hour break, and a flextime system applies with core hours from 10:00 to 15:00. Holidays include a two-day weekend, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and the year-end and New Year period from December 28 through January 3. Leave includes annual paid leave, with 10 days granted on joining, condolence leave, leave to care for a sick child, nursing-care leave, and menstrual leave.
Benefits include company-leased housing, assistance with PC-related equipment, and a corporate defined-contribution pension plan. Insurance coverage includes health insurance, employees' pension insurance, employment insurance, and workers' compensation insurance. Smoking is prohibited indoors, with an outdoor smoking area on the premises. The scope of duties may change to duties designated by the company, and the work location may change to a company-designated location, including a place where remote work is performed.
