Product Designer

The Product Designer will create UI/UX for an AI-native SaaS product as Loglass undertakes a large-scale rearchitecture and redefinition of the domain of its management product. The role involves working closely with product managers and engineers to develop experiences designed around the presence of AI.

Responsibilities include turning new AI-native user experiences into prototypes so that customers and the team can form a clear picture and move projects forward. The designer will also interview customers about their work, model complex domains, and produce detailed UI designs that balance feasibility with user experience. The role includes making design decisions that address the tension between system flexibility and ease of use while considering long-term extensibility.

Required qualifications include at least three years of professional UI/UX design experience for an application, web service, or product. Candidates must also have experience designing in an AI-enabled development environment or designing UI/UX for an AI product. At least two years of experience using prototypes to involve product managers, engineers, or other functions and repeatedly improve a product is required. Experience leading decisions or initiatives that affect an organization larger than the immediate team is also required, together with responsibility for customer-focused user experience and design.

Preferred experience includes design planning for the refactoring or rearchitecture of legacy or large-scale systems, proposing product improvements through user interviews, launching a new business, and understanding corporate planning or holding a qualification such as bookkeeping.

This is a full-time permanent position with a three-month probationary period, extendable to six months. The expected annual salary is 6,000,000 to 12,000,000 JPY, determined according to experience and skills. The stated examples include monthly salaries of 500,000 JPY and 1,000,000 JPY, each including 60 hours of fixed overtime; work beyond the fixed overtime allowance is paid separately. Working hours are 10:00–19:00 with a one-hour break, and a flextime system operates with core hours from 10:00 to 15:00. The workplace is in Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The range of possible work locations includes a place where work from home is performed.

Holidays include a five-day workweek with Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays from December 28 through January 3. Leave includes annual paid leave of 10 days granted at joining, bereavement leave, childcare-related nursing leave, caregiving leave, and menstrual leave. Benefits include company-leased housing, subsidies for PC-related equipment, and a corporate defined-contribution pension plan. Social insurance includes health, employees’ pension, employment, and workers’ compensation insurance. Indoor smoking is prohibited, with an outdoor smoking area on the premises. Duties may change to duties designated by the company, and the work location may change to locations designated by the company.
