Global Infrastructure Integration Specialist

The role develops roadmaps and migration plans for global infrastructure, plans and designs infrastructure environments, drives global infrastructure reconstruction projects, and manages ongoing operation and maintenance. The infrastructure scope includes SD-WAN and other networks, various cloud services, client device management, and integrated help desk functions.

Required qualifications include experience in building global infrastructure, at least three years of experience introducing and operating global infrastructure, and the ability to communicate smoothly with overseas group companies and vendors and reach agreement with them.

Preferred qualifications include experience building global infrastructure outside Japan or integrating infrastructure globally; knowledge of ITIL, project management, cloud services, networks including SD-WAN, end-user computing, and authentication and authorization platforms. ITIL, PMP or equivalent, Azure or AWS, and Cisco-related certifications such as CCNA or higher are preferred. English ability sufficient for email and document preparation is also listed as a preferred qualification.

The position is part of the Global Digital Business Transformation headquarters IT organization. The Japan and EAGS region has approximately 90 members, with around 60% having joined mid-career. The headquarters includes regional IT and global functions such as global infrastructure and CIO staff. The Japan and EAGS region consists of business transformation, platform transformation, information security, and user engagement units.

The employment type is full-time permanent employment. The stated expected overtime is an average of 20 hours per month and 40 hours during busy periods. The work location is 4-6-10 Koishikawa, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo. Indoor smoking is prohibited throughout the premises. Salary is determined through consultation.
