Infrastructure Engineer

This Infrastructure Engineer works closely with the development team to build the foundation that supports stable operation and growth of the product. Responsibilities include designing and building infrastructure on AWS, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, strengthening security, and operating infrastructure with reproducibility and maintainability. The role also advances infrastructure strategy from both technical and business perspectives, including securing scalability as the business expands and optimizing costs.

The role supports a multi-tenant SaaS architecture with data separation through RLS. Development, RC, and production are operated as separate environments. Deployments are container-based and use ECS Fargate. The position helps establish a fast and secure deployment foundation with the development team, achieve enterprise-quality security and availability, and create Infrastructure as Code-based operations.

The named cloud environment is AWS, including ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, ALB, and VPC. Terraform is used for Infrastructure as Code. Docker and ECS Fargate are used for container-based deployment, while GitHub Actions is used for CI/CD. The database is PostgreSQL on RDS, and monitoring and logging use CloudWatch.

The development team is described as being close to the infrastructure function, allowing infrastructure-led improvements to the development experience. The role includes involvement in foundational design in a startup setting and addresses the high availability and security requirements of a SaaS product for large enterprises.
