Algomatic’s first internal AX Engineer reports to the VPoE in the Engineering Office and works with teams including HR and the CEO Office. The role redesigns internal processes for an AI-native organization, then turns successful changes into repeatable methods for customer products or consulting. Work spans interviews and issue discovery, process redesign, technical selection and implementation, including architecture, data, infrastructure and system integrations. Depending on the workflow, steps may be removed, simplified, made rule-based or AI-enabled, using existing tools where suitable. After release, the engineer reviews usage, fixes defects, improves performance and addresses technical debt. The current environment includes Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, HERP and freee. Applicants need practical experience in web application development or infrastructure design and implementation (around three years or more), use of a coding agent such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex or Claude Code, and experience developing a generative-AI or LLM-related product through work or personal projects. Team communication, moving projects forward and enthusiasm for generative AI are also required.
