Machine Learning Engineer

ExaWizards is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for speech and natural language processing, either on client projects or on product development. The engineer develops and operates models that combine speech and NLP, designs model operation with the user experience in mind, and develops real-time speech synthesis for dialogue applications.

The company stresses putting work into real use, so what is built is used in society. Client projects cover multiple sectors and require broad knowledge of machine learning and language processing along with domain knowledge. Machine learning engineers increasingly take on software-engineering work and can pick up those skills, and the team uses generative AI actively in daily work.

Applicants need development experience with speech signal processing such as speech recognition and synthesis, an academic background in speech analysis or practical experience in it, and native-level Japanese. Experience with streaming processing and speech synthesis, conference presentations or papers, and researcher experience are preferred.
