QA Engineer (Console Games)

This QA Engineer supports software quality for internally developed console game titles. Day-to-day work includes developing automation tests to continuously verify that games behave as expected, collecting and managing gameplay data logs, and analyzing those logs. The engineer also builds environments for collecting and visualizing problems found during development and can propose and implement measures to improve game quality.

Applicants must have experience developing games with C++ and the programming ability needed to implement and operate test code. Preferred experience includes using Jenkins, developing automated-test environments, and having specialist knowledge of databases, operating systems, middleware, or networks. The working approach includes valuing games and teamwork, anticipating problems and considering responses in advance, flexibly proposing solutions, and turning quality-improvement proposals into practice.

The position concerns consumer game titles developed within the group. It is a full-time regular-employee role. Contract-employee or outsourced-contract arrangements may be available in some cases.

The final amount is determined under company rules after considering experience and ability. Work locations are the Shibuya office, Minamihirandai, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, or the Meguro office, Aobadai, Meguro-ku, Tokyo.

Both offices are generally non-smoking indoors, with dedicated heated-tobacco smoking rooms.

Support includes company gatherings and club activities, social-event cost support, a game-play room, onboarding training, CyStudy, Skill Thursday, and a mentor-trainer program for new graduates and second-new graduates. Side jobs are prohibited.
