Scrum Master

Tailor develops the AI-native headless ERP platform Tailor Platform and a Professional Services business that delivers customer projects on it. The Scrum Master acts as a change agent for customers and for Tailor, working closely with all parties to raise adaptability in product development and the odds of project success. The person first serves as scrum master of one team and project, learning the current state of the organisation and development set-up, and later is expected to treat the whole organisation as one system and lead solutions to organisation-level problems.

Duties include coaching the team, product management and the organisation, building technical excellence, nurturing a culture of continuous learning, removing obstacles together with stakeholders, and running facilitation, training and workshops.

Applicants need proven scrum master experience, deep knowledge of scrum and understanding of methods such as waterfall, three or more years of product development, knowledge of modern engineering practice, coaching and facilitation experience, strong problem-solving, native-level Japanese and residence in Japan. ERP platform knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), large-scale scrum such as LeSS and systems thinking are preferred.
