Security Analyst

The Security Analyst monitors and analyzes security logs, prepares regular reports, and investigates security incidents, including interviewing users when incidents occur. The role also improves security monitoring systems, creates rules for detecting anomalies, and gathers security information from the web as part of OSINT activities.

Required qualifications include experience performing monitoring or analyst work in a SOC, operational experience with security products such as EDR, CASB, SIEM, and email security tools, foundational knowledge of IT security, and foundational knowledge of networks and operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Mac.

Preferred experience includes advanced security work such as vulnerability assessments, digital forensics, or malware analysis; incident response experience; experience building AWS infrastructure environments; and programming experience.

The role is part of a game-services and development-environment security function. The posting seeks candidates who enjoy games, communicate and negotiate carefully, collaborate with others, proactively identify and complete tasks, and independently learn unfamiliar areas while sharing results and knowledge.

This is a full-time position. The listed annual salary range is JPY 4.5 million to JPY 12 million, determined according to experience, ability, and company regulations. A semiannual performance incentive is available outside the annual salary. Standard working hours are 10:00–19:00, with eight scheduled working hours and a 60-minute break from 13:00–14:00. Average monthly overtime was approximately 18.5 hours based on 2025 results.

The work locations are offices in Shibuya and Meguro, Tokyo. Holidays include a complete two-day weekend, Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays, summer leave, year-end and New Year holidays, annual paid leave, and condolence leave.
