Security Engineer

The Security Engineer identifies security issues, gathers information, plans and promotes security measures, and conducts security awareness and education activities. The role also develops and operates security monitoring systems and investigates misconduct, researching issues and considering countermeasures.

Required qualifications include basic knowledge across infrastructure technologies such as networks, operating systems, servers, virtualization, and cloud services. Candidates must have experience designing, building, and operating security-related infrastructure, operating security products for PCs, and responding to security incidents and events.

Additional experience in security log management and analysis, vulnerability assessments, digital forensics, malware analysis, cloud-service technologies, application development, or project management is welcomed. Knowledge of encryption algorithms and cryptographic communication protocols is also welcomed, as is participation in security contests such as DEFCON or SECCON. Experience working in the entertainment industry is an additional qualification.

The position works on security for services and development environments in a game-related business context.
