Staff Infra Engineer

A Staff Infrastructure Engineer role at a BtoB e-commerce company that brings internet efficiency to traditional industries such as printing, logistics and advertising through digital platforms for small and medium businesses. The revenue-core platform runs on AWS with a mix of legacy EC2-based systems and newer containerized services, and the company is growing rapidly through new businesses, M&A and global-team expansion (engineering scaling from ~200 to 400+ people). This position builds the foundation of the company's cloud infrastructure for the next decade, working with infrastructure and technical leaders to strategically re-architect existing systems, with the core challenge of designing cloud infrastructure that scales both technically and organizationally while maintaining reliability, security and cost discipline. As a staff-level technical leader, responsibilities include group-scale infrastructure design (AWS account, network and ownership models across products; balancing governance and autonomy), leading Infrastructure as Code (Terraform structure design, module standardization, review policy), and driving steady legacy modernization (phased, non-big-bang migration of EC2-based systems with sound technical and business rationale).
