About this role

This role leads business development for the plant technology division, covering government research institutions and private companies. The specialist analyzes markets, competitors, and customers, develops and recommends business strategies and approaches, and independently drives strategic assignments from company leadership through execution and results.

Responsibilities include leading business development and high-value sales discussions, preparing upstream technical proposals and quotations, negotiating contract terms, managing delivery and project execution after contract signing, and designing and advancing applications for public programs. The role also builds and strategically manages relationships with partner companies and the supply chain. It requires coordinating technical, legal, and finance teams to close complex matters independently, then feeding activity-based insights back to management for future strategy.

Applicants must have at least five years of practical experience in business development, sales, or project advancement, including independently creating and progressing opportunities to results. Experience leading sales, delivery management, or business initiatives at a manufacturer, specialized trading company, or startup is valued. Advanced experience leading contract preparation, review, and negotiation, including completion of complex contracts with legal, intellectual property, and finance teams, is required. Experience conducting market research, competitor analysis, and opportunity assessment and presenting recommendations to management is also required, as is the ability to structure ambiguous questions and create action plans.

The role requires independently building relationships with engineers, executives, government stakeholders, customers, and other parties, leading coordination and consensus building, and completing work from administrative tasks through operational design in environments without established answers or manuals.

Experience in energy, infrastructure, plant, or heavy electrical industries; B2B discussions involving engineering solutions or specialized equipment; project management covering schedules, costs, and risks; public-sector negotiations or grant-program operations; and knowledge of legal, intellectual property, or finance areas are welcomed. English work experience at an intermediate or higher level, such as business email, chat, or meeting participation, and experience working with multicultural teams are also welcomed. The role may expand toward team management depending on suitability.
