This role is part of SBI Holdings’ Corporate Communications Department and supports the group’s investor relations function. Day-to-day work includes preparing investor-relations presentation materials for financial results briefings in Japanese and English, producing annual reports and company information materials, and drafting Japanese and English press releases. The role also supports information meetings and financial results presentations, prepares materials for the president’s speeches, and responds to institutional investors and media. Advertising and promotional activities are also included.
Depending on experience and career interests, the position may also work with the department’s Sustainability Promotion Office. Related duties include supporting the operation of the SBI Holdings Sustainability Committee and promoting sustainability initiatives across the group. The department communicates the activities of the group’s businesses, sustainability and ESG initiatives, and information concerning major matters such as corporate acquisitions to domestic and overseas stakeholders. The role involves direct communication with top management and may provide future opportunities in areas including group strategy, analyst work, and accounting or finance.
Applicants must have experience in investor relations at an operating company and business-level English ability, as the role involves communication with overseas investors and local subsidiaries. Knowledge of English, finance or marketing is welcomed. Experience with a listed company or a background in the financial industry is also welcomed, as is experience communicating directly with investors and others through IR work. The preferred working style is serious and adaptable.
The position is full-time and has an indefinite contract term. Remote work is not available. The work location is in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, with no change of workplace or transfer.
The probationary period is six months with no change to working conditions. The premises are entirely non-smoking.
