Management Control

USEN WORK WELL is expanding services for companies facing labor shortages, productivity challenges, and increasingly diverse work styles. As sales of its services and products grow, transaction volumes and the amount of business data are increasing. The role will help establish a repeatable management-control structure that does not depend on individual knowledge or effort.

Working as a partner to the management team, the position will make business figures visible and build practical processes for reliable management control. Responsibilities include structuring management-control and analysis processes, leading budget preparation, budget-versus-actual analysis and monthly progress management, reporting at weekly management meetings, and coordinating with the U-NEXT HOLDINGS management-control department in accordance with group-wide governance.

Required qualifications are at least three years of practical experience in management control, finance, or management accounting, together with the ability to interpret a profit-and-loss statement and identify business issues. Experience coordinating with stakeholders such as a parent company while maintaining governance and speed is welcome, as is management experience.

The position works closely with three members of the management team and the holding company’s management-control department in a small team. The role involves direct, regular communication with management and practical responsibility for developing efficient operating processes and management methods. Speed, practical capability, output quality, accuracy, and collaboration are evaluated objectively.

This is a full-time, permanent position in Shinagawa, Tokyo. Remote work is possible approximately one to two days per week.
