Corporate Planning

The Corporate Planning role supports FUSION, whose work centers on advertising, creative services and marketing support. Reporting directly to management, the role helps structure management decisions and advance business growth across strategy, performance management and organizational improvement.

Responsibilities vary according to experience and interests. They include developing and executing mid-term management plans and business strategies; designing KPIs, analyzing figures and managing monthly and quarterly business progress; preparing materials for management meetings and board meetings; company-wide budgeting and budget-versus-actual management; planning, researching and evaluating the feasibility of new businesses; identifying organizational issues and leading improvement projects; managing cross-functional projects; and planning improvements and efficiency measures for business processes. Other management-related duties may also be assigned.

Required applicants have at least one of the following: experience in corporate planning, business planning or business promotion at a consulting firm or operating company; experience designing KPIs and managing or improving numerical performance; or experience working with executives and multiple departments to advance projects.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of the advertising, marketing or creative industries; experience planning new businesses or launching services; knowledge of management accounting or finance; project management experience or experience leading organizational improvement projects; practical experience with budget-versus-actual and management control at a medium-sized or larger operating company; experience with M&A or capital alliances; and experience considering, planning or executing PMI strategies.
