Global Supply Chain Management, Medical Equipment

This role supports global supply and inventory management for medical imaging products, including CT, MRI, X-ray and ultrasound diagnostic equipment. The position belongs to the Medical PSI Promotion Office and serves as an operational staff member supporting the office head.

Responsibilities include leading PSI policies for the Medical Business Group, improving PSI management processes, supporting business PSI management sections through data analysis, and developing PSI management talent. Day-to-day work includes arranging and facilitating regular meetings with business PSI management and regional sales promotion departments, following up on actions, attending product-level PSI meetings with sales companies in Europe and the United States, compiling weekly reports, and preparing personnel development plans.

The role coordinates demand forecasts with product-based PSI management sections and regional sales promotion departments, then works with factories to create supply and inventory plans. The position requires experience in supply planning or supply coordination at a globally operating manufacturer in fields such as electrical equipment, machinery or automobiles. Candidates should understand both sales and production perspectives, use data to think and communicate logically, and demonstrate communication, coordination and negotiation skills. English ability at approximately TOEIC 700 or above is required. Experience using Excel or Tableau for data analysis, production control experience, and overseas assignment experience are welcome.

The team is part of Canon’s global headquarters and works with colleagues and sales companies worldwide in the medical business. The Medical PSI Promotion Office consists of a department head, PSI operations staff, PSI data analysis and management staff, and personnel being developed through assignments in other departments. The successful candidate will join as a PSI promotion operations staff member. Potential career paths include PSI management or broader business management in a business PSI management section or regional sales promotion department, and assignment to an overseas sales company.

The work locations are Canon’s Shimomaruko headquarters in Ota, Tokyo, and the Nasu site in Otawara, Tochigi, subject to consultation. Working hours are 8:30–17:00. The position is full-time. Annual holidays total 125 days, with a two-day weekly holiday system in principle on Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, a May holiday period and summer leave.
