Overseas Licensing Sales for Manga Content

This contract role handles overseas licensing sales for the company's manga content. Responsibilities include coordinating internal and external parties for new licensing sales, providing candidate works to overseas publishers according to their characteristics, serving as the contact for proposals to publish translated editions, preparing and checking permission-related documents, reviewing contracts, and supervising the production of translated publications and promotional items.

The role works with overseas publishers and involves learning about markets and conditions in different countries, publishers' editorial policies and initiatives, and regional approaches to developing manga content.

Applicants must have a strong interest in the licensing business and business-level or higher communication ability in both Japanese and English, including conversation, business-document reading, and writing. These skills are used for internal and external email, meetings, negotiations, and proposal documents. The position also requires the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, an interest in entertainment content such as games, anime, manga, and films, and basic email and Office application skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desirable qualifications include the ability to explain manga content clearly and attractively to third parties, experience working with overseas companies, and flexible thinking.
