About this role

Belong is hiring a Sales Assistant for its Reuse Trading Department. Belong operates sales, purchasing, and rental businesses for reused smartphones. The department handles the procurement and trading of used mobile devices and PCs and supports the company’s expansion into global reuse markets.

The assistant supports sales staff so they can focus on customer development and negotiations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and managing documents such as quotations and purchase notices, submitting applications through internal systems, communicating with customers about orders and purchases, and serving as a coordination hub between the sales and operations teams. The role also supports the design of operating processes for new product areas, including PC purchasing.

Many processes are still being established as transaction volumes and product categories expand. The position therefore includes helping create and improve workflows rather than only following established administrative procedures. Examples include developing manuals, recording and sharing knowledge in Notion, and improving the use of spreadsheets with the sales team.

After joining, the assistant will receive onboarding from the current assistant and learn the work processes and domain knowledge, including purchasing assessment logic and operational flows. During the period from approximately six months through the second year, the expected development is to manage multiple tasks independently, prepare quotations and purchase notices accurately and efficiently, improve processes for new activities such as PC purchasing, and lead internal documentation and knowledge sharing. From the third year onward, opportunities may include taking on a broader range of sales work or moving into another team within the corporate business division, depending on performance, preferences, and team needs.

The position is based at Belong’s Tokyo headquarters in Akasaka, Minato-ku. The company uses a hybrid work arrangement combining office attendance and remote work. The planned location-change scope includes company-designated locations, including places where remote work is performed. The current workplace will be used until a planned move to a new office near Aoyama-itchome Station around autumn 2026. The selection process consists of document screening, two interviews, a reference check, and an offer meeting.
