About this role

Photosynth is recruiting for an open sales position. Placement may be in one of four areas depending on the candidate’s experience and preferences: field sales, partner sales, enterprise sales, or sales planning focused on sales enablement and channel strategy.

Field sales centers on inbound inquiries, followed by new-customer development and deeper engagement with existing customers, including upselling. Partner sales covers developing and promoting partner companies, then handling customer proposals and contracts while working with partners to address customer needs. Enterprise sales focuses on acquiring and expanding relationships with large companies in the corporate and commerce markets. The role includes building relationships with executives and department heads. Sales planning covers sales strategy, KPI design and operation, data analysis, and creating repeatable sales processes to improve organizational results.

Applicants must have at least one year of sales experience in either business-to-business or individual sales. Sales experience in the IT industry is desirable. The ideal candidate is energetic and highly motivated to learn.

The position is part of the sales team. The company’s business includes research and development of IoT-related equipment, development and provision of cloud-based IoT services such as the Akerun access management system, and the Migakun facilities-operations BPaaS.

This is a full-time position based in Minato, Tokyo.

Remote work is available depending on the department. The probationary period is six months.

Other provisions include a café space, free drinks, club activities, company meals, book-purchase assistance, internal study sessions, and support for study-session participation fees. The selection process consists of document screening, a first interview, a final interview, and an offer meeting; an aptitude test is conducted before the final selection when applicable.
