Experience designer in an IT firm's UX design office, researching and designing UX for client systems and carrying projects through development, plus growth work on an in-house SaaS.
About this role
An art director or UI designer position in Alceo, the in-house design office of Simplex, a systems developer serving mainly financial institutions. Visual and UI design has so far relied on UX designers and outside partners; this hire brings that work in-house and raises its quality and consistency.
The designer takes part in upstream CX/UX work; visualises personas, customer journeys, user stories and design concepts; does information architecture and UI design for web and smartphone apps; builds and runs design systems; manages UI quality; and creates prototypes and runs user tests alongside project managers, UX designers and engineers.
Required: experience with experience flows and wireframes, creating design concepts, at least three years of UI design work, graphic production in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, driving projects with other teams or partners, and clearly communicating concepts and designs. A portfolio is required during selection.
