Game Director

The Game Director oversees a game from initial launch through post-release operations. Responsibilities include analyzing KPIs after release, monitoring user behavior, and identifying operational improvements.

The role directs the overall project and manages quality and schedules across game development activities. It also contributes to creating engaging game content.

Required qualifications include experience creating specifications or planning documents using Excel and at least one year of experience as a director in the game industry. Experience in game planning or operations, or additional director experience, is welcomed.

The position involves coordinating smoothly with related departments and communicating ideas logically. The posting also describes an interest in games and extensive experience playing social games as part of the desired profile.

This is a full-time position. The work locations are in Shibuya-ku or Meguro-ku, Tokyo. Working hours are 10:00 to 19:00, with eight scheduled working hours and a 60-minute break from 13:00 to 14:00. Average monthly overtime is approximately 18.5 hours based on 2025 results. The position has a five-day workweek from Monday to Friday, with public holidays off.

Annual salary is determined according to experience, ability, and company rules, with the listed annual range of 4.5 million to 12 million yen. A semiannual performance incentive is available outside the annual salary. The salary includes designated overtime and late-night work allowances.
