This full-time mid-career role joins GenAi as its second designer. The designer will work across commissioned UI projects and GenAi’s own branding and communications design, with responsibility for a broad range of deliverables.
Day-to-day work includes designing interfaces for new systems and applications based on client requirements. The designer may also create demo applications and proposal materials used in sales activities, and suggest improvements from a design perspective. Internal work includes designing company materials such as presentation documents, flyers, brochures, business cards, and landing pages. The role can also involve branding and communication design for GenAi.
Required qualifications are experience in web design or UI design, experience using Figma, and submission of a portfolio. Practical work experience is not required, and self-produced portfolio work is accepted. Experience designing application or business-system interfaces, graphic design experience, and experience using Adobe Illustrator are welcome but not required. Experience working with engineers through communication and collaboration is also welcomed.
The design team currently has one lead designer. The new designer will work as the second member of the design team and receive reviews and support from the lead designer. GenAi operates IT consulting, application development, and owned-media businesses, so projects may include client work across different industries as well as internal communication materials.
The named design and work tools are Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, Slack, Notion, and Mac computers; Windows PCs can be provided if preferred.
