Project Manager

The project manager will oversee management activities for consumer AAA game titles. Responsibilities include planning and executing strategies for content development, preparing project budgets and managing planned versus actual results, and creating and presenting reports for management. The role also covers schedule management, staffing coordination, and other activities related to project execution.

The position involves negotiations and coordination with external partner companies, as well as collaboration and coordination with other internal departments. It also includes planning and proposing promotional activities while working with people from a range of industries and occupations inside and outside the company.

Required qualifications include at least three years of work experience in the game industry, basic skills in Office software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, the ability to communicate smoothly with relevant departments, and basic business skills. Experience of at least three years in consumer game development or experience as a manager is welcomed.

The posting seeks candidates who can communicate matters logically, work with a sense of speed, and have a strong interest in and extensive experience with games in general.

This is a regular employee position, although the posting notes that a contract employee arrangement may also be possible. Annual compensation is determined according to experience and ability under company rules, with a semiannual performance incentive paid separately from the annual salary. The annual salary includes designated overtime and late-night work allowances. Working hours are 10:00 to 19:00, with eight scheduled working hours and a 60-minute break from 13:00 to 14:00. Average monthly overtime is approximately 18.5 hours based on 2025 results.

The work locations are buildings in Shibuya and Meguro, Tokyo. The offices are generally non-smoking indoors, with designated smoking rooms for heated tobacco products. Holidays include a two-day weekend, Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays, summer leave, year-end and New Year holidays, annual paid leave, and condolence leave.
