During the post-sales phase, the role serves as the client contact for final confirmation of imaging plans and progress management. It supports imaging reservations and execution either by assisting clients with the required operations or by making reservations on behalf of the company. The role also monitors imaging status and reports progress through delivery.
The position is the first dedicated member of a customer success team being established for the satellite data services business. It will lead the design and standardization of operations that are not yet defined, identify issues in existing workflows, and propose and implement efficiency improvements. Close coordination with overseas teams is required to build a globally consistent service structure. The work is part of the Business Department, which connects customers and development teams through satellite data and solution services used in areas such as urban planning, infrastructure development, and natural-disaster response.
Required qualifications include at least two years of practical experience supporting customers after a sale, such as customer success, technical support, or account development, or experience in sales involving account management or project management at a consulting firm. Candidates must have foundational knowledge of SaaS or IT product structures and be able to provide customers with technical advice. Business-level English is required.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of geographic information systems or experience using GIS software, experience performing work with internal tools or systems, experience in the satellite-data or space-business fields, and experience working at a startup founded less than ten years ago. The role requires problem-solving and execution skills, initiative and flexibility in identifying and addressing issues, adaptability to change, logical communication, coordination among stakeholders, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
The position is based at the company headquarters in Koto, Tokyo. Hybrid work and remote work are available for people who live within a commuting range of the office. The employment is permanent, with a three-month probationary period under unchanged conditions. Working hours use a flextime system with core hours from 11:00 to 15:00; the standard schedule is eight working hours plus a 60-minute break per day. Annual holidays total 122 days, including weekends, public holidays, and the year-end and New Year period from December 29 to January 3. Health, pension, employment, and workers' compensation insurance are provided. Annual income is determined according to experience and skills. There is no bonus, and salary increases and promotions are reviewed twice a year. Overtime and late-night allowances are paid separately for amounts exceeding the fixed portions. Approved side work is permitted, provided there is no dual employment contract. Transportation costs are covered up to JPY 30,000 per month, and language-learning costs are supported up to JPY 30,000 per month.
