Build Engineer

This role manages development resources for internally developed consumer game titles. Responsibilities include building and operating CI/CD environments tailored to each title, building and operating version control systems, and establishing and maintaining branch-based development environments.

The engineer also builds and operates static code analysis tools, detects errors arising in development environments, and works on improvements. The role includes proposing and implementing workflow improvements and applying knowledge of monitoring tools, configuration management tools, and CI/CD in practical work.

Required experience includes game development using C++ or Python and operating continuous integration with Jenkins. Experience developing or operating an asset management system using Perforce, experience operating static code analysis, and knowledge or practical experience in data analysis are welcome qualifications.

The position supports development teams working on consumer games. The posting identifies the employment arrangement as a full-time regular employee, although contract or outsourced arrangements may also be possible. Work locations are in Shibuya or Meguro, Tokyo. Working hours are 10:00 to 19:00, with eight scheduled working hours and a 60-minute break from 13:00 to 14:00. Average monthly overtime is approximately 18.5 hours based on 2025 results.

Annual salary is determined according to experience, ability, and company rules, with a stated range of 4.5 million to 12 million JPY. A semiannual performance incentive is available outside the annual salary. The salary includes prescribed overtime and late-night allowances.
