Information Systems Manager / Lead

As a corporate IT manager or lead, this role plans and executes IT strategy, sets department goals, allocates resources, manages and develops team members, and works hands-on to advance initiatives.

The responsibilities include overseeing internal PCs and smartphones, networks, and on-premises and cloud servers, including their construction, maintenance, and operation. The role also optimizes SaaS account-management processes, usage costs, and operations; strengthens the company’s security structure; and builds and improves IT controls for the planned IPO, including J-SOX controls.

The position leads company-wide DX projects and prepares the operational foundation and guidelines for using generative AI, including Gemini and AI agents, in business operations.

Required qualifications are broad practical experience in an information systems or corporate IT department, with approximately five or more years indicated, together with experience building cooperative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners and directing those parties. Preferred experience includes team management or leadership, practical IT-control work for IPO preparation and J-SOX, driving internal DX or business-improvement projects, implementing and operating EDR or MDM, and building, operating, or managing on-premises or cloud servers.

The corporate IT function supports business expansion and IPO preparation at TBM, a sustainability-focused materials and resource-circulation company whose activities include LIMEX and recycled-material development, carbon recycling, and resource-circulation businesses.

The position is based in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Employment is full-time with a six-month probationary period.
