Infrastructure Engineer

The Infrastructure Engineer designs, builds, and operates infrastructure for mobile games and distributed systems. Responsibilities also include designing, building, and operating development environments and CI/CD environments, improving system operations through automation, and addressing load and performance issues in large-scale systems.

Applicants must have at least three years of practical experience in system construction and operations, together with knowledge of or experience in system design.

Preferred experience includes infrastructure construction and operations in LAMP environments; practical use of public clouds such as AWS and GCP; practical experience as an infrastructure engineer or SRE engineer; and knowledge of or experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda is also welcomed.

The posting also welcomes development experience using shell scripts, Go, or Python; infrastructure construction using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK; database design, construction, and operations using MySQL or similar systems; and construction or operation of version-control systems including GitHub Enterprise Server, SVN, or Perforce. Conversational English and the ability to understand technical information in English are listed as preferred skills.

The role is based at offices in Shibuya or Meguro, Tokyo. The regular working hours are 10:00–19:00, with eight scheduled working hours and a 60-minute break from 13:00–14:00. Average monthly overtime was approximately 18.5 hours in 2025. The position is listed as full-time, although contract or outsourced arrangements may also apply in some cases.

The annual salary is determined according to experience, ability, and company regulations. The stated annual range is 4.5–12 million yen, with a semiannual performance incentive outside the annual salary. The annual salary includes prescribed overtime and late-night work allowances.
